Fresh Cut Lemongrass is a mosquito candle that smells of freshly cut lemongrass, cool eucalyptus, and fresh citrus notes. Citronella and litsea cubeba give the scent a clear, green, and slightly electric expression, balanced by neroli which softens and rounds off the overall impression.

This is the scent of mosquito-free summer evenings. When the air is still warm, the windows are open, and the evening can unfold without interruption. Fresh Cut Lemongrass is energetic yet controlled ⎯ a mosquito candle that keeps the summer night clear, light, and pleasant, without feeling functional or heavy in its scent.

Our series of mosquito candles are made from 100% ECO-CERT sunflower wax and also contain the natural mosquito repellent Citrepel®. This mosquito repellent is ECO-certified and contains a high concentration of PMD (para-menthane-3,8-diol). This is the active substance that keeps mosquitoes away and is the natural alternative to the chemical poison DEET (diethyltoluamide) that is often found in mosquito repellents.

    Fragrance notes

    All of our insects are valuable, but some can still be a nuisance. Mosquitoes are a real nuisance for many of us. As a child mosquito bites were a plague, big and hot throbbing bites. Today, they are the reason mosquito candles exist and keep us separated without harming each other.

    Top notes:

    Healthy peaks from lemon peel and citrus fruits. Light notes of neroli sprinkle in.

    Heart notes:

    The heart opens up to a spicier scent of neroli, lemongrass and rosemary.

    Base notes:

    In the base, notes from eucalyptus emerge together with light hints of red cedar.

    Avoid drafts

    Candles do not fare well in drafts, so avoid placing your candle by an open window or near a heat source. Also remember to keep candles away from flammable materials.

    Let the candle burn

    Both the first time and thereafter when you light your candle, the wax should melt all the way to the edge. After that, about 3-5 hours at a time is a suitable duration.
