The scent of lavender and patchouli gives us humans a sense of freshness, but to the mosquito it is a plague. The scent is floral and spicy and gives a relaxing feeling that is well suited to be in the background on a warm and pleasant summer evening.

Our range of mosquito candles are made from 5% recycled wax from our candle production and also contain the natural mosquito repellent Citrepel®. An ECO-certified mosquito repellent that contains a high level of PMD ( para-menthane-3,8-diol). It is the active substance that keeps mosquitoes away and is the natural alternative to the chemical poison DEET (diethyltoluamide) that is often found in mosquito repellents.

    Doftnoter

    All of our insects are valuable, but some can still be a nuisance. Mosquitoes are a real nuisance for many of us. As a child mosquito bites were a plague, big and hot throbbing bites. Today, they are the reason mosquito candles exist and keep us separated without harming each other.

    Toppnoter:

    Light and fleeting notes of peppery lavender start the fragrance and open up to the mosquito's worst enemy.

    Hjärtnoter:

    The heart enhances the spiciness with patchouli and red cedar.

    Basnoter:

    The base has a sweet and spicy note from tonka bean, vanilla and sandalwood.

    Förbered koppen

    Rengör koppen som du vill använda. Om det finns vax kvar - häll upp kokande vatten, låt svalna, då flyter vaxet upp till ytan. Torka med en torr trasa.

    Smällt vaxet

    Smällt vaxet

    Ta ut veken, fäst den i koppen och stäng sedan påsen ordentligt igen. Kör påsen i micron på 800W i ca 1 minut. Upprepa 20 sekunder om det behöver smälta mer.

    Bästa resultatet

    Låt vaxet bli grumligt innan du häller upp det i din kopp. När du hällt upp vaxet centrerar du veken så den står rakt upp. Låt stelna, för bästa resultat gärna i två dygn.
