Fragrance notes

We are in Greece and an old man is sitting on a wobbly plastic chair, smoking a pipe. He is sitting right outside what looks like a ruin. The smoke from the pipe is surprisingly inviting and sweet. On the other side of the building, a taverna is hidden, offering both a view and good food. What we ate or where it came from, I don't know, but I remember we were given a small bowl of honey that was as dark as treacle.
