Banana Burn smells of ripe banana meeting burnt sugar and dark coffee steam. The sweetness is deep and slightly caramelized, never playful, rather warm and almost bitter at the edges. Tonka binds the scent together, giving it a soft, powdery depth that lingers for a long time.

The sensation is dense and intimate. Like bodies lingering too long, warmth that doesn't quite let go. A scented candle that feels intimate and a little uncomfortable ⎯ in a good way. Sweet, dark, and uncompromising.

Fragrance notes

Grandma Astrid's birthday was in the autumn, just like mine. An autumnal coffee party should always be celebrated with coffee and liqueur, preferably with girlfriends. The combination of cakes, strong filter coffee that could kill, and smooth liqueur actually makes for a really good combination.

Top notes:

Banana Burn opens sweetly with notes of almond, liqueur, and hints of sugar.

Heart notes:

When the heart takes over, you are met with notes of banana, toasted almond, and cardamom.

Base notes:

The base is made from dark rum and brown sugar.

Candles do not fare well in drafts, so avoid placing your candle by an open window or near a heat source. Also remember to keep candles away from flammable materials.

Let the candle burn

Both the first time and thereafter when you light your candle, the wax should melt all the way to the edge. After that, about 3-5 hours at a time is a suitable duration.
