Ambience smells of soft citrus that is never sharp. Italian bergamot and mandarin lie like a light haze in the air, rounded and warm, while cedarwood provides stability and direction. Tonka softens the whole, leaving a subtle warmth that feels natural rather than sweet.

The feeling is slow and dreamy. Like losing track of time somewhere in Italy, where days blend together and the air always feels a little softer. A scented candle in a tin that doesn't want to attract attention, but create a state ⎯ relaxed, balanced, and still.

Fragrance notes

The scent itself takes its inspiration from my Grandma Astrid, who was a pro at finding the best small citrus fruits in the store. When you ate a clementine at home it was always sour, but at Grandma's they were aromatic and sweet.

Top notes:

You are greeted by slightly refreshing notes from bergamot, apples and splashes of pomelo.

Heart notes:

The heart has a complex tone of amber, dry notes of patchouli and cedar.

Base notes:

The notes of musk, jasmine and sandalwood balance and help focus the top notes.

Avoid drafts

Candles do not fare well in drafts, so avoid placing your candle by an open window or near a heat source. Also remember to keep candles away from flammable materials.

Let the candle burn

Both the first time and thereafter when you light your candle, the wax should melt all the way to the edge. After that, about 3-5 hours at a time is a suitable duration.
